Beate's Sketch Challenge-Welcome Colin

Here is my entry for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge 45. You can find it here. My nephew and his wife had a baby boy last month and named him Colin Edward. I made this card for him.

My post needs to be short since it's Sunday night and I need to be at work tomorrow morning at 6.

I stamped the boat several times and watercolored all of the images. I cut out t
he different parts of the boat and layered them on top of each other.

I used my Cuttlebug for the blue layer, and the tag. I used my Spica glitter pens and Stickles to bling up images.
You can see the glitter a bit better in the close up shot. I will edit tomorrow evening to add all the particulars.
Thanks for visiting!

Stamps: SU! Toy Box, Papertrey Mixed Messages
Ink: Stazon Black
Paper: Watercolor, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Almost Amethyst
Extras: Cuttlebug Swirls Embossing Folder and tag, SU! Taffeta ribbon, Star Dust Stickles, Spica Lemon glitter pen, Amuse Twinkle dot rhinestone sticker, dimensionals

Beautiful! I love the dimension you achieved on the boat. I never have the patience for anything like that.

I love this card! The sailboat is adorable and you did a wonderful job with the coloring! I had a little boy in December that we named "Cameron Edward". Neat!
